Client Testimonials
Marsha Lindsay - Founder of Nobu Pilates
Marsha is the Founder, Creator, and Creative Director of Nobu Pilates, a luxury fitness brand in London known for its refined and elegant approach to reformer Pilates, aligned with the Nobu name’s reputation for excellence in hospitality and design. I began training Marsha over a year ago. Like many of the people I work with, she operates in a high-pressure environment and values training as a space to switch off from daily demands and be fully present. Working with someone who has strong physical self-awareness makes a real difference, the ability to communicate through movement is something many people struggle with. For Marsha, this comes naturally. She’s a perfectionist, attentive to detail, and driven to get things right, which makes the work both effective and rewarding.
Andrea Vasiliou - Actress / Stunt Person / Model
Andrea has been training with me for several years now. Like many from the stunt world, she arrived with a solid base in martial arts, but she was always keen to go further and be pushed properly. Her training is structured as if she were preparing to fight demanding, precise, and uncompromising. It’s not the kind of work that leaves you smiling at the end of every session, but the results speak for themselves. The goal has always been realism: conditioning Andrea to switch on instantly, going from zero to full intensity in a split second. Andrea has appeared in such films as "Wonder Woman" "Gran Turismo" "Working Man" and many more!
Elisabeth Leach - Super Mum
Elisabeth first came to train with me through the classes at Circle8Fitness. It quickly became clear that she wanted to improve her technique and lose the stubborn weight remaining after her first child. We made strong progress, and soon after she became pregnant again. Training continued safely through her pregnancy and beyond, and we’ve since worked her back to her pre-baby shape. Even when injuries presented challenges along the way, we adapted the sessions, focused on where she could still win, and kept her moving forward. Her consistency and determination have made that progress possible.
Roxy Karam - Art Dealer / Devoted Mum
Roxy started training with me on and off around 2020 and was attending my gyms circle8fitness classes. and then around mid 2023 Roxy started regular 1-2-1 sessions with me to improve her overall technique. By this time she had learned the more fun jumping and spinning movements and the more intricate combinations and techniques. The joy in teaching people like Roxy is the smile of doing fun movements and challenging exercises that keep her motivated to keep coming back for more.
Yolanda Lynes - Stunt Person / Actress
Yolanda became one of my clients several years ago. After a significant accident, I was honoured to support her journey back to full confidence and performance readiness. Yolanda has worked on major productions including Black Widow (2021), Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022), The Marvels (2023) and The Witcher (Season 3) amongst many others. Her skill-set spans martial arts, precision driving and wire-work, a testament to her dedication and versatility. I’m proud to have played a part in her comeback, and even more proud to witness her thriving in such a demanding field.
Corinne Holt - Life Empowering Coach - Bali
When Corinne first came to train with me, she was preparing for the British Stunt Register and committed herself fully to the process. We worked together for several years, building her skill, conditioning and confidence before her journey eventually led her to Bali. Today she’s thriving at Bali MMA, teaching advanced martial arts, competing in MMA, coaching workshops, and living as the all-round powerhouse she’s always been. It’s been a privilege to watch her evolve into the athlete, coach, and leader she is now.
Melis Mengi - Student
Melis came to train with me shortly before I was due to leave the UK. With limited time, I accelerated her training, introducing kicks and techniques that would normally come much later in the learning process. The aim was to give her the strongest possible foundation before handing her over to continue her development. While that volume of information would overwhelm most people, Melis thrived. She absorbed everything with ease and showed a rare natural aptitude for learning martial arts.
Nic Pejacsevich - Business Owner
I’ve known Nic for many years, long before he ever trained with me. He’s always been a true boxing man, someone who studies the sport as much as he enjoys being on the pads. Our sessions are built on solid work, sharp focus, and the kind of honest back-and-forth that only comes from real mutual respect. Over time, that training naturally evolved into a strong friendship. We share a background I won’t go into publicly, but it’s created a bond built on trust, accountability, and understanding. It’s a reminder that personal training isn’t just about the physical work, sometimes it opens the door to connections that genuinely push both people forward.
Constantine Kirwan-Taylor - Photographer
Con came to me some time ago, a natural left-hander "south-paw", a stance many trainers may find awkward, but I’ve always believed in coaching from both stances, and in teaching fighters to switch fluidly to expand their game. He focuses primarily on boxing, and over our time together he’s built the skill and confidence to step into numerous interclub bouts under my guidance. Con is an absolute pleasure to train: inquisitive, thoughtful, always questioning methods and seeking to understand the deeper ‘why’ behind everything we do. Watching him grow as a boxer has been genuinely rewarding.
Sem - Finance
Sem has been training with me for several years now, and like many who eventually find their way to my coaching, he certainly didn’t arrive as a beginner. He’d already spent years training under Damien Alamos, Greg Wootton, and David Pacquette, all multiple-time world champions, and had established himself as a highly skilled Muay Thai practitioner long before we met. Sem has never pursued competition; as a successful businessman and devoted family man, fighting was never the objective. He trains purely for his love of the art, the discipline, and the personal mastery it brings. It’s been a privilege to guide someone with such genuine passion for Muay Thai.
Josh Barrington - Property Specialist
Josh has been training with me for just over a year now. As with all my clients, the work starts with understanding why they want to train. In Josh’s case, it was simple, he wanted the confidence and ability to defend himself or his loved ones if the need ever arose. Standing at around 6’5”, he’s already an imposing presence, but combined with his reach and the skills he’s developed through training, he’s become someone you’d think twice about challenging. Training Josh has been about building calm confidence, not bravado.
Daniel - Marketing and Sales
I first met Dan years ago at Stars Gym, before I left for Los Angeles in 2017. Back then he was training with Greg Wootton, and it wasn’t until he later came to train with me that I really got to know him. What stood out immediately was that he’s a committed father and a dedicated businessman, someone who carries a lot on his shoulders. For Dan, Muay Thai isn’t just fitness, it’s a structured, powerful way to decompress and reset. Like many of the people I work with, the pads give him a somatic release from the pressure of everyday life, an hour where he can switch off from everything and be fully present. It’s that same focused hour so many of my clients value: just them, the work, and the moment.
Michael Freedom - Entrepreneur
Michael first came to my classes at Circle8Fitness while he was researching different training concepts to shape his own vision of the ideal gym. The Circle8Fitness model became part of that inspiration, and I took him on to teach him the full breadth of coaching, from class structure and padwork to Muay Thai and boxing at an advanced level. Since 2020 he’s trained with me consistently on a 1-to-1 basis, absorbing every detail with the precision and curiosity of someone who wants to understand how everything truly works. Michael is a perfectionist by nature, always studying, refining, and pushing himself—both in business and in personal development, and he’s now moving toward bringing his own gym concept to life in Chiswick, London.
