I founded two gyms during my career.
The first was Stars Gym, founded in September 2008. The intention was to create a high-end, boutique Muay Thai and boxing gym, disguised as a fitness gym. The original Stars Gym began life in a very basic, spit-and-sawdust unit in Battersea and, in reality, operated much like a traditional Muay Thai gym. However, it allowed us to market the concept while we searched for the right long-term location.
That first facility ran until June 2011, at which point we opened Stars Gym at Albion Riverside, Battersea, London, where it remains to this day. The gym continues to operate profitably and is now expanding to a new location in Lewisham, London. Although the concept has evolved since I left in 2017 to expand my horizons in Los Angeles, it has retained a strong foundational core based on Muay Thai.
In January 2020, just before COVID hit, Circle8Fitness opened. I had created a conceptual training system that made it unique compared to anything else available at the time, and to date, nothing in the fitness space comes close. The defining feature of Circle8Fitness was that the classes were run through an application I personally developed and created. Each class was uniquely generated, and the platform now contains close to 200 pre-made workouts.
In October 2025, Circle8Fitness closed, for now. The lease on the property expired, and I am currently seeking new opportunities in Bali, Indonesia, with the aim of bringing the Circle8Fitness concept back to Asia and closer to its roots.
